LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American professional basketball player that is a player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. James is known by the name of King James and is considered to be among the best basketball players ever. James has won four NBA championships and four NBA MVP Awards, four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James had more points than any other player during the playoffs, has had the second highest number of career points, and is seventh in career assists. James has been named to be an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times consecutively from 2011 to 2018; he was also selected to join the team for NBA's 75th anniversary. James was chosen as a part of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became only the third NBA player to ever score 10,000 or higher career points. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national press praised him as an NBA player of the year. In 2003 it was the year that his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft as a pro-to-prep. He was named one of the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. Soon he became one of the best players in the NBA, winning both the NBA MVP Award in the years 2009 and 2010. James, who did not take home the title at Cleveland in 2010 quit as a free-agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was revealed as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a free agent in sports history.
