Motivated by her American-born Italian heritage, Lofaso opened Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 and was instantly well-received. Lofaso's interpretation of old-school Italian is widely praised by critics as being one of the best restaurants for Italian food within Los Angeles. Lofaso is described as a neighborhood restaurant that consistently serves food that's authentic, delicious and warm. Lofaso studied under the best chefs to master their techniques. However, she was not afraid to make extraordinary decisions in order to follow her intuition. Following her rapid rise up the ranks She transformed a variety of Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while cooperating with famous stars. Lofaso and Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. The bar was eventually able to get the space within Black Market as well as the partnerships she established. Lofaso could find the space to create the work she wanted through the collaboration. The goal of Black Market is not to be restricted by any means. One course may begin with potato chips and peppers Dill. Then it's Korean wings and meatballs.
