Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actor. She made her screen debut in her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. Fluently speaks French, German and English. His father is an actor and her mother was a violinist. Won the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award during the Young Actor Gala Mangalia. The award was given to her as the first European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. Apart from her amazing performance in Sex Traffic, Anamaria Marinca is most famous for her role in Romanian artist-directed film 4 Months 3, Weeks, 2, Days. The film was awarded several awards, including an award called the European Film Award Best Actress given by the British Film Critics. In 2007, she starred in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 saptamani si 2 zile (4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 days) by Cristian Mungiu, which received the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other awards (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI award). She also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, she appeared as Yasim Angwar, the BBC miniseries of five episodes The Last Enemy. Marinca is a regular in The Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven. Then she as Irma's German grandmother in Fury, which was released in 2014.
