She also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, she appeared as Yasim Angwar, the BBC miniseries of five episodes The Last Enemy. Marinca is a regular in The Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven. Then she as Irma's German grandmother in Fury, which was released in 2014.
