Kate Hudson

Hudson was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Academy Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, an actor, comedian and musician.Her parents divorced when she was just 18 months older and she, along with her older brother and actor Oliver Hudson, were raised in Snowmass, Colorado, and Pacific Palisades, California by her mother and her long-time love interest actor Kurt Russell.Hudson's origins are Italian (from her paternal grandmother), Hungarian Jewish (from her maternal grandmother),and the rest are a mix of English and some German.She was raised Jewish as was her mother she is also a practicing Buddhism.Hudson has stated that her biological father "doesn't know me through a hole in the wall" and she regards Russell her father.Hudson has described her mother as "the woman that I've learned the most from and who I look up to, who has conducted her life in a manner that I can emulate". [14] She has four brothers and sisters: Zachary Hudson and Emily Hudson, her biological father's second marriage to actress Cindy Williams; Lalania Hudson and Wyatt Russell, her mother's relationship with Wyatt Russell, her mother's. She was accepted into New York University but decided to pursue acting instead of studying for a degree.
